What is your role in food banking?
I have three volunteer roles at the Strathcona Food Bank– secretary of the board of directors, public relations, and hamper builder.

Relational
What was your inspiration to get involved in food banking?
When my kids were in junior high school, I had extra time and wanted to make a difference in my community.
What is your greatest achievement in your current role?
Overcoming my fear of public speaking.
What is your greatest challenge in your current role?
Juggling the timing of events as they all seem to come at one time.
If you could have one wish granted that would address hunger in Canada, what would it be?
Lower food prices
